Horizon Festival, the 10-day, 10-night multi-arts festival held on the Sunshine Coast, is back bigger than ever this winter, set to take over in August with an unmissable program of live performing arts, workshops, creative talks and more.

Held in multiple locations on the Sunshine Coast with a fully packed program of music, visual art, theatre, cultural dance, guest talks, films, creative workshops and more, Horizon Festival offers something for everyone to see, do and enjoy.

This year, Horizon Festival 2021 will kick off with a huge Opening Ceremony in Cotton Tree, featuring Gubbi Gubbi Dance Troupe, Jinibara Dance Troupe, First Voices Choir and more to honour the heritage and start the festival with a bang.
There will be non-stop live entertainment in the Wonderland Spiegeltent, also located in Cotton Tree, with multiple performances to catch by disco, burlesque and cabaret group BRIEFS FACTORY, as well as circus group CIRCUS WONDERLAND, bringing their brand new aerial and acrobatic show, A Mermaid’s Tale.
Other events include Siren: a pop-up dance performance by GOGI DANCE COLLECTIVE, which will take place on Mooloolaba Beach!
